In line with our commitment to continuous improvement, Sensors
and Controls Product Line announces additional updates to our
Model 3590 10-Turn Wire wound Precision Potentiometer. The
following changes are being made and released as running changes
as part of the assembly automation of this product line. The
rear cover design has been upgraded to a molded-in terminal
design. This will eliminate the insert and epoxy for the rear
terminal. This change was implemented with date code 0934M.
With the change to an insert molded terminal cover, the rear
Cover will now have four small holes to hold the collector ring
In place during the injection molding process. These holes do
Not affect the seal integrity of the product. In addition, the
Epoxy used to seal the terminals is changing from blue to clear
UV cured epoxy. This change will reduce the cure time and
processing for the epoxy. The implementation date code will be
1015M. There are no changes to prices currently listed in the
2009 Distribution Price Book for these product upgrades. The
changes do not affect form, fit or function of the product
